Day 1 Fes

In your first day on tours from fes, our local tour guide will meet you and embark on a 4×4 tour to Fes, where we will taste local traditional cuisine. Fes was set up by Idris 1 in the twelth century and was known for a long time to be the social capital. It is one of the major urban zones with legacy for history and cultural landmarks. In addition, it has one of the greatest medinas in the Arab world. It has Madrasas, the souks, Karauin, the most oldest university on the planet, mosques, squares and craftsmans. We will rest overnight in a riad in Fes.

After breakfast we will travel admiring the Middle Atlas Mountains. We will stop for a break in the town of Ifrane. We will cross the largest forests in Morocco, the cedar forests. Also visit Errachidia, where you will watch enormous palm trees and an area with an ideal microclimate. Likewise, we will visit Erfoud, the capital of the Tafilalet territory. In the area we can observe fossils ensuring a past where there was an ocean. and will see during our journey how the track ends and the Saharan route starts meaning the beginning of our adventure to the Sahara Desert in Merzouga. On entry, we will have customary dinner and stay at our luxury desert camp.

Day 3 Merzouga oftours from fes

Explore the Erg Chebbi sand dunes, the largest in the Sahara. We will stop at the town of Khamlia, a little town where the desert nomads live. During our adventure ride our camels to our Sahara desert camp to spend the night under the stars in our luxury camp. In the night, we will taste local cuisine with drums and a camp fire.

Day 4 Merzouga, Todra Gorges, Dades Valley & Ouarzazate

Today, we will visit the town of Rissani. Furthermore, we will visit the desert oasis of Tinghir, a breathtaking place in Morocco. In addition, we will go through the Todra gorges enjoying the greenery of the scenery, where we will drive through the route of the thousand Kasbahs to Ouarzazate, known to have been a Hollywood filming spot for movies like Alexander The Great, Lawrence of Arabia, The Gladiator and more. We will visit the kasbah of Taurirt and stay at a riad.

Day 5 Ouarzazate, Ait Ben Haddou & Marrakech

Today we will continue our journey to Ait Ben Haddou protected by the UNESCO as a World Heritage. Furthermore, we will visit Kasbah of Telouet and the highest roads in Morocco, Tizi’n’Tichka at 2260 metres to arrive at the imperial city of Marrakech, where we will sleep in a Moroccan riad
