We will pick you up from the port in Tangier driving you through the Rif mountains and Tetoun city discover its breathtaking views to finally reach Chefchaouen. Chefchaouen has a Spanish style square with funky colour combination, craft stores, restaurants and cafés. Furthermore, we will head towards the Fes to spend the night in a riad.
After breakfast, we will drive towards the south to Ifrane and Azrou through the Middle Atlas mountains. We will stop at the cedar forests to see the Barbarian Apes in their characteristic environment. Going through the Tizi Ntalghamt to Midelt and along the glorious Ziz Gorges, you will see the panoramic views of the Middle Atlas Mountains and the landscape as we approach the city of Errachidia. After lunch we will proceed with our excursion through Ziz Valley to Erfoud, Rissani and Merzouga. After a glass of mint tea, we will leave on a unique camel ride to a Berber camp in the Erg Chebbi Sand Dunes. The camel trek will take us from the camp where we will set up Berber tents for our night. The luxury tents are very much furnished with sleeping cushions, covers, and pads. After supper we will accumulate around the fire and appreciate the sound of Berber drums under the stars.
We will wake up right on time to appreciate a heavenly sunrise on the dunes. Furthermore, we will ride our camels back to the desert camp. We will leave for Tinghir and the Todra Gorges, where we will eat and spend the night.
After breakfast we will drive through the Dades Valley towards Kalaat Mgouna and Ouarzazate. A while later we will visit the Roses valley and Skoura town. Furthermore, we will visit Ouarzazate, “the Hollywood of Africa”. Lunch will be served at the acclaimed Ait Ben Haddou kasbah, the largest Kasbah in Morocco. It is also recognised as a UNESCO World Heritage site, our excursion will proceed through the superb Tizi’n’Tichka pass. Finally, we will stop to appreciate the panoramic views and visit the argan oil cooperatives. At that point we will arrive in Marrakech late evening.
