Day 1 Morocco tours Marrakech to Tizi-n-Tichka, Ouarzazate

A Morocco Safaris tour guide will pick you up after breakfast to leave for Ouarzazate using the Tizi-n-tichka high altitude pass in the Atlas Mountains. Similarly, we will appreciate the excellent landscape over the High Atlas mountains and the surprising Berber towns. Furthermore, we will stop over at the Berber towns before heading to Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, the biggest Kasbah in Morocco and a landmark for film producers of Hollywood. You might be lucky and watch a live shoot, whilst you visit the Kasbah!

Day 2 Ouarzazate, Skoura, Boutaghrar & Dades Valley

After breakfast in the hotel, we will continue our Morocco tours Marrakech to visiting the interesting Dades and Rose Valleys. Our first stop will be at Skoura. Indeed, there we will walk inside the Birds Valley and visit the protected Kasbah of Ameridil. Furthermore, we will proceed to the town of Kalaa M’gouna, acclaimed for its rose fields.

In addition, our road trip proceeds to Boutaghrar territory, where we will meet Berber families still living in old style caverns. After lunch with a local Berber family, we proceed to the Dades Gorges, where we will observe the astonishing Rock development called “the monkey Toes”. Overnight we will stay at a Berber visitor house.

Day 3 Dades Valley, Todra Gorges & Merzouga of Morocco tours Marrakech

Today, we will drive to Tinrghir and the Todra valley with a unique panomaric view of the old mud Berber towns located in the valley. Once at the Todra Gorges we will get to see the high cliffs and scenery. After lunch, we will head towards the town of Merzouga, where camels will be awaiting to take you on a unique camel trek. In addition, you will be greeted with a glass of mint tea and we will help you tie a scarf around your head to get the “local feel”. At last here you will spend your first night under the stars and appreciate the magic of the desert at night.

Day 4 Merzouga & Draa Valley

In the early morning, our guide will wake you up to watch the best dawn in your life sitting on a camel’s back enjoying a relaxing trek on the wonderful sand dunes of the Merzouga Desert. Similarly, we will also enjoy the exceptional magnificence of the fantastic Erg Chebbi dunes. Arriving late morning back in Merzouga and after a shower in the guesthouse, we will visit Rissani, an extremely conventional Moroccan town.

Furthermore, we will drive towards Agdez through Alnif and Tazarine, before we get to the entrance of the Draa Valley at the edge of the Atlas Mountains.

Day 5 Draa Valley & Marrakech

After our last lavish breakfast, we will appreciate a unique view of the palm forest and the picturesque moon-like scene with the wonderful complexity of the Berber towns and the Saghro mountains. It is an area that has been well known for Hollywood movies including The Last Temptation of Christ, Jewel of the Nile, and the Mummy. Our adventure will proceed through the magnificent Tizi n’tichka Pass (2260 m) over the High Atlas Mountains. At last touching base at your hotel in Marrakech marking the end of our 5 day tour.
