Day 1 Fes, Ifrane, Azrou, Ziz Valley & Merzouga

Begin our journey to Fes through Midlet and the Ziz valley. We will drive to Ifrane, a magnificent mountain town, also recognised as the Switzerland in Morocco. We will stop at the biggest woodland and appreciate the perspectives of the Higher Atlas mountains. Also, we will stop at Azrou, a town amidst the popular cedar woods.

Proceed after lunch, driving in our vehicle through the entrancing Tiz Ntalghamt pass and the Ziz Gorges. We will go along the Ziz Valley en route to Erfoud and Rissani. We will touch base in Merzouga at night, where we will be welcomed with a glass of mint tea before registering with your riad.

Enjoy our desert experience in the middle of the Erg Chebbi dunes!

Day 2 Merzouga, Todra Gorges & Dades Valley

Today, we will wake you up early to enjoy the sunrise over the largest dunes in Morocco. Furthermore, we will trek back with our camels to the village of Merzouga. After breakfast and hot shower, we will drive to Rissani, Tinghir and Todra gorges. We will stop for lunch in the middle of the gorges, where we will drive through the Dades Valley, visiting all the majestic sand castles. In the night, we will stay at a riad with the views of the Dades valley.

Today, we will proceed travelling through the Dades Valley towards Ouarzazate and after that to Marrakech. Since the course through Dades Valley is known to be the route of the thousand Kasbahs we will stop for photographs along the way. We will then stop at Kalaat Mgouna visiting the rose fields.

Furthermore, we will drive to Marrakech through the Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah. Finally, we will proceed through the risky Tizi’n’Tichka Pass over the High Atlas Mountains, where you will have the chance to explore the process and fabrication of argan oil in the Berber cooperative. Finally, we will arrive at Marrakech, where we will drop you off at your hotel or airport.
