Day 1 Casablanca & Chefchaouen

Our Morocco Safaris tour guide will meet you at the airport or in your hotel in Casablanca to drive to Chefchaouen “The blue city of Morocco”. We will make short stops at different points to get to the blue city. Finally, we will stay overnight in a riad in the Medina.

Day 2 Chefchaouen

Enjoy a free day of this 6 Days from Casablanca Desert, where you will be able to wander around “the blue city” of Chefchaouen unguided to get a proper feel of the magical place. We will stay overnight in the same riad.

Day 3 Chefchaouen & Fes

Following breakfast, we will begin our adventure heading to Fes. In the evening, we will arrive at Fes to stay overnight at a riad in the medina.

Day 4 Fes, Ifrane, Azrou, Midelt, Erfoud & Merzouga Desert

After breakfast we will our journey southwards to Merzouga through Midelt and Errachidia. Our first stop will be at Ifrane city, alluded to as “the Switzerland of Morocco” and afterward to Merzouga first visiting Midlet and the Ziz Valley. On the way, we will encounter numerous opportunities to stop take pictures and admire the Middle Atlas and Higher Atlas mountains. Similarly, on the way we will stop at a Cedar forest, the largest one in Morocco, where you will have the chance to see the Barbarian primates. After lunch in Midelt, we will proceed to the awesome Ziz Valley stopping on the way to admire the views.

Furthermore, we will travel through Berber towns to Erfoud and Rissani known to be the establishment of the Alaouite administration, which is the present ruling family of Morocco. On arrival to Merzouga we will be invited with a glass of mint tea and ride your camel to the highest sand dunes in morocco Erg Chebbi to spend the night in our luxury desert camp.

Day 5 Sahara desert, Todra Gorges & Dades Valley

In the early morning our camel guide will wake us early to watch the sunrise in the desert. A while later, we will calmly camel-trek back to our riad admiring the one of a kind marvellous Erg Chebbi sand dunes. After breakfast and hot shower in a conventional visitor house, we will leave for Tinghir and Todra gorges. Here we will have the chance to climb along it’s valley for a short trek. Furthermore, we will drive through the Dades Valley, where you’ll see the glorious sand castles and the astonishing rock developments known as “monkey toes”. At last, we will stay overnight in a riad or a guesthouse in the heart of the gorge.

6 Days from Casablanca Desert to Dades Valley, Ait Ben Haddou & Marrakech

After breakfast, our Morocco Safaris guide will drive us to Dades Valley through Kalaat Mgouna and Ouarzazate. The route through Dades Valley is known for its thousand Kasbahs scattered along the way. So it gives us various chances to take some photos along the way. We will stop at Kalaat Mgouna, “the rose city”, to buy its famous rosewater. Furthermore, we will continue our journey on to Ouarzazate known to be “the Hollywood of Africa”.

In addition, we will stop over for lunch at the famous Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, the largest Kasbah in Morocco. It is protected by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. Similarly, it is known to be the scenery for Hollywood films, including ‘Lawrence of Arabia’, ‘The Mummy’, ‘Gladiator’ and more. Our journey will continue towards the high altitude Tizi ‘n’ tichka pass at 2260 metres over the High Atlas Mountains, where we will investigate along the way the Argan trees to see how to make argan oil at the ladies cooperatives before arriving at our settlement in Marrakech.
